GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
· Only one team can represent a college.
· A maximum of 6 participants can be part of a team.
· Students from UG and PG are eligible to participate.
· Participants must carry their bonafide certificate and College ID cards.
· It is participants’ responsibility to avoid the clashes between events.
· No accommodation will be provided. (It may be arranged on request and prior intimation, for more details visit our website (www.jmc.edu/swap2kx).
· Participants are asked to be in our campus at 8.30a.m on 30th September 2010.
· Last date for Registration is 23. 09. 2010.
· No spot registration.
· For all events, judges’ decision will be final and binding.
· Students taking part in any indiscipline activities will be disqualified from all the events.
· Formal dress code is required.
· Working lunch and regular hospitality will be given to all participants.

Obfuscation
Description
Obfuscated code is source or machine code that has been made difficult to understand. Programmers may deliberately obfuscate code to conceal its purpose or its logic to prevent tampering. It is a form of security through obscurity. “It's High time to show off your coding skills. Whether it is C or C++, just come and display the logic beyond your thoughts.”
Rules
1. Two Participants per Team.
2. The first eliminative round will consist of an online objective questionnaire on coding.
3. The shortlisted teams will face a competitive coding in final round.

IT – Marketing
Description
IT - Marketing is an event through which the participant should create an interest in goods or services. In the globalization, all you’ll need is novel notions.
Rules
1. Maximum of 5 participants per team.
2. Maximum of 2 members per team can participate in the preliminary test.
3. All 5 team members should be on-stage for the final round.
Final Round:
1. Each team will be given a product to sell.
2. Time allowed for marketing the product – 7 mins
3. Evaluation will be based on solidarity, convincing prowess, marketing strategy and creativity.

Animation
Static objects can not and will not represent an animation. (i.e.), Animation is all about dealing with the dynamic changes of an object.
Rules
1. Two Participants per team.
2. In final round, a concept will be given and the participants have to create an animation for the same.
3. Only Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Flash may be used in the final round.

Description

Description
Web design is the skill of creating presentations of content (usually hypertext or hypermedia) that is delivered to an end-user through the World Wide Web, using a Web browser or other Web-enabled software .The content will test the ability of the participants in different area of the web and other web related technologies.
